I have a confession to make, if you go to Ground Zero, then go to the museum. I really wanted to visit One World Observatory and Ground Zero, but chose only to visit the observatory tower and see the reflecting pools. It was a mistake not to visit the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Ironically, I only realized it was a mistake as I reflected on the visit. My wife, Wendi, and I were in town for a very short period of time, and we wanted to see as much as we could. She was in … [Read more...]

Take a Trip Around Manhattan With Me (No Tips Necessary)
My wife Wendi's blog has built a reputation on three things (in my humble opinion): Packing a lot of fun things to do in a short amount of time (Wendi's Weekend Trips); writing about neat places to eat (&); whatever captures her fancy (Whatnot). If You Enjoy Air Conditioning, You Need to Thank This Man
I often find it funny how things can be so interconnected without us even realizing. How one decision can grow to impact so much. So, you can probably guess how exciting it is for me to consider this anniversary. July marks a year since I began Wendi's Weekend Trips and Whatnot. I can't believe it has been a year! I have had a great time and I hope you have, too. But in case you are new to me or perhaps don't remember, I want to … [Read more...]
Wendi’s Weekend Trips & Whatnot Gearing Up for 1st Anniversary
This month marks the one-year anniversary of my wife's blog, Wendi's Weekend Trips & Whatnot. It is a remarkable achievement when you realize she does this for fun as a creative outlet for her love of writing and holds down a full-time job dealing with performance, compliance and quality improvement for a very successful and impactful nonprofit agency in Wooster, Ohio. To say I am proud of what my wife, Wendi Warren, has achieved would be an understatement. Many writers deal with … [Read more...]
