Today I am celebrating my tenth anniversary with The Village Network. Before November 21, 2005, the longest I stayed with any one organization was four years. That was at my college, in the Secretarial Pool, when I was working about 15-20 hours a week, while I was attending classes. When I started at The Village Network, we were called Boys' Village. (Certified Angus) Beef, It’s What’s for Dinner
I used say I was going to marry a rancher, because I wanted to have steak any time I wanted. I'm that much of a beef eater. I didn't, but I got the next best thing. I married a man who worked in a high end restaurant as a kitchen manager and First Cook. Bobby is a wonderful cook and I am definitely spoiled because of it. Step Up Wooster — We Sure Did!
This morning, Saturday, October 31, around 7:15, a group of volunteers gathered together in the pavilion at Oak Hill Park. Though it was still dark, we started getting ready for the much anticipated Compassion Step Up event. Jan Maxwell, one of the event's coordinator, thanked us all for coming. Got back home from a great time at Stoney Creek Farm with nephews, D'Aveon and Noah. Even before he gives me a kiss hello, Bobby makes me do, is a voice over for the Step Up video.
