My wife, Wendi, the founder of this blog, helped me knock out two items on my alleged bucket list (I just call them things I want to do, but bucket list is -- or was -- so trendy) on my birthday in December: Go to Westside Market and Ohio City Burrito. Despite the fact that we had to leave Wooster and Wayne County to get to Cleveland, I discovered we never really left Wayne County behind. Marshallville Meats: The first sign of home came in Westside Market. While looking at all of the … [Read more...]
A Doggie Day (Care) in Review
While my mom, Wendi, is busy getting ready for Christmas, I decided to hijack her blog once again. This time I want to talk about one of my favorite things. No, it's not rain drops on roses or whiskers on kittens...although I do like chasing kittens...but that isn't the same thing. It is Doggie Day Care. I'm lucky enough to get to go every Wednesday to day care at Cleveland Road Animal Hospital and Pet Hotel in Wooster, Ohio. Santa Claus Came to Town!
Editor's Note: Below is a post I wrote after last year's visit to Wooster's Window Wonderland and visit by Santa Claus. It is happening on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 7:00-9:30 p.m. Earlier activities begin at 4:30-7:00 p.m. at Wayne Center for the Arts. Enjoy my flashback post, but more importantly enjoy the festivities downtown on Friday. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...or at … [Read more...]
