What more can be said? Over the Rhine came to Wooster, and we had church. Over the Rhine started as a four-member, alternative, indie music group in Cincinnati, and over the past 25 years it has become the husband-and wife duo of Linford Detweiler and Karin Berquist and whoever is touring with them. When they played Wooster United Methodist Church April 20, it was Bradley Meinerding making OtR a trio. This was the first time OtR has been back here since playing The College of Wooster … [Read more...]

Wing-ing it in Wooster at C.W. Burgerstein’s
It has been about a year since Dan Starcher told my husband, Bobby, that the best place in Wooster, Ohio to get wings, is C.W. Burgerstein's. We have been frequent flyers for wing night ever since. This was on Sunday, March 13, 2016. He was performing at the Church of the Nazarene, in Wooster, OH. Bobby and Scott met at a … [Read more...]

Or maybe more to the point, my newsman, otherwise known as my husband, Bobby, has. He ended up at a meth lab bust Friday night. I can't tell you how many times we have had to postpone our plans because … [Read more...]
