I'm celebrating 21 years today. No, it isn't my birthday. I say my life began 21 years ago today, because this is the date of my first date with Bobby. Up until October 22, 1994, I had no idea how wonderful life could be. I didn't realize that even doing mundane things like laundry could have meaning. I had wanted to be married for so long, but I didn't know how great married life could be. And really, I wasn't sure that a happy ending was part of my story. That all changed when Bobby and … [Read more...]
Owney Gives a Shout Out to Country Corner Animal Clinic
Since my mom, Wendi, has been laid up for a a couple of weeks, I decided to write about my trip to the Country Corner Animal Clinic. Armed with an Amazon Prime membership and an Amazon Fire Stick (not to mention two Amazon Kindles) I could watch all the episodes from all five seasons on my … [Read more...]
My Funny Bone Tickled by Anita Renfroe
Anita Renfroe is hilarious! She has a way of looking at the world, especially the world of middle-aged women, that can bring the house down — or at least the Medina Performing Arts Center. I attended her comedy concert with a group of friends on Saturday, September 12. We journeyed from Wayne County to Medina to partake in a little “Girls Night Out” event being held there. I had never been to see Anita Renfroe, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I know that I loved her “Momsense” video … [Read more...]
