Anyone who has read this blog for any length of time should know by now I love pizza, and the pizzas Wendi and I had at Firenza Pizza in Sandusky proved to be a wonderful surprise. We didn't want pizza for dinner (well, actually Wendi didn't; I can eat it any time), and we had no idea we would be eating dinner in Sandusky. Wendi and I were on our way to Marblehead, Ohio, to get away for a little bit. Normally, we take a vacation in the summer, but we had visited North Carolina, Georgia … [Read more...]
LeBron Shines in Boston, His Ambassadors Shine at Cedar Point
For the second year in a row, my husband, Bobby, and I were privileged to attend a VIP Charity event at Cedar Point. Last year it was for the opening of their new roller coaster, Valravn. Valravn Roller Coaster Revisited
I had the opportunity to be one of the the first 1,500 people to ride the new rollercoaster at Cedar Point, the Valravn, in May 2016. It was a great experience-took my breath away. We stayed at Hotel Breakers and had passes for the park all three days. I decided that it would be a great way to end the summer, like I started, with a … [Read more...]
Bloggy Conference Here I Come!
I started my blog over a year ago, but from the beginning my husband Bobby has been all in with me on it. That includes encouraging me to attend a blogging conference. He heard about the Bloggy Conference last fall (which was going to be at Cedar Point), and when tickets first went on sale, he bought them. So, since January we have had this weekend planned. We booked our hotel room at Hotel Breakers and then went about our blogging business. Now we are here and I am so excited. While I … [Read more...]
Daring to Dive on Cedar Point’s Newest Coaster
I have always loved roller coasters. They all get me. Even the worst roller coaster is still pretty good (just like pizza.) However, when I ride a really good coaster, the feeling lasts a little longer and I enjoy reliving it with friends. This is exactly what happened when I was able to be … [Read more...]
