Every day, my wife Wendi, the founder of this blog, and I work together ... in our house. I started Wooster Media Group LLC in January 2018 and Wendi joined me full-time in mid-March 2020. I started working out of the home until I got an office on the Wooster campus of The Ohio State University. However, OSU President Dr. Michael Drake and Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine both told me the same thing: Stay at home. Drake didn't want me in the buildings on campus, and DeWine didn't want me outside. So, Wendi … [Read more...]
Owney: Meet my New Cousin, Noodle
When my cousin, Parker, passed away a couple of years ago, it was hard on all of us. Thankfully my Aunt Randi and Uncle Shaun still had my other cousin, Admiral Nelson to keep them company. Plus there was me. Whenever I go over to their house, I make sure that my Uncle Shaun has plenty of kisses to make up for the ones he misses from Parker. But then Aunt Randi started posting pictures of a little wiry-haired dog on Facebook named Noodle. At first my mom, Wendi, thought it was just cute pictures … [Read more...]
Owney’s Fun Observations at Barnes Preserve
It has been a long and uneventful summer for me. My parents, Bobby and Wendi Warren, have been busy with other things, that we haven't really gotten out to try new things. Our Gracie Girl is Gone

Our Gracie girl died on July 13th, 2018. She lived to be almost 18 years old. Or at least that's how old I would guess her age to be. I think she was probably born in November 2000. I'd like to tell you the story of how Gracie came to be part of our family. At the time we were living in Hillsboro, Ohio. Bobby was a … [Read more...]
How Nikki the Kitty Aged 4 1/2 Years in 10 Minutes
I’m a dog that lives with a lot of cats. When I first moved into my forever home with my mom, Wendi, and my dad, Bobby, there were six cats that became my instant family. Like any self respecting dog, I made it clear who was boss in the house. Turned out that it wasn’t me -- at least not while Ariel was around. Through my four years of being in my home, the cat population has decreased. I know what you are thinking and I didn’t do anything to them! Most were just older and as life goes, they … [Read more...]
