Honestly, I've never really felt the desire to go to New Orleans. I have nothing against the city, its just not on my bucket list. But I do like listening to jazz music from time to time. I had my chance on Saturday when downtown Wooster was filled with jazz. The Wooster Arts Jazz Fest took over downtown Wooster despite the wind and the threat of rain. Bobby and I were able to go there with my mom, Dolores, and one of our great nephews, Noah. The event was put on in partnership … [Read more...]
Weekend Filled with Music, Laughter and Good Friends
Hey, had a great weekend with friends. I was invited by Jan Maxwell to go with a group of friends to Anita Renfroe and Natalie Grant Concert on Saturday. I Scream. You Scream. We all Scream for Pav’s Creamery!
Have you ever had the experience of discovering something awesome by accident? I don’t have a lot of experiences like that, but I did just this past weekend. Pav’s Creamery is awesome! Bobby and I took Owney to Portage Lakes State Park on Labor Day and on our way there we passed Pav’s Creamery. It is on the corner of Manchester Road and State Road. Bobby said we needed to stop there on our way back. I had no intention of doing such a thing. From the quick glimpse I had, it looked like some … [Read more...]
Portage Lakes State Park–A Great Way to End the Weekend
Bobby and I had no set plans for Labor Day Weekend. Since I had been under the weather most of last week and he had been filling in for his boss while she was on vacation, we were looking forward to a restful and relaxing weekend. In fact, he made me promise to not plan anything on Saturday. Sunday was spent with our nephews, who were visiting in Lodi. We had a great time and that will be shared in another blog…stay tuned! By Monday, Bobby was open to the idea of doing something, … [Read more...]
