The saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." While that might be true, it is best when we get a chance to say when the end comes. That is exactly what Kyle Durniat and her family have been able to do with the First Amendment Public House in Downtown Wooster. They will be closing the restaurant on December 31, 2015. When I first heard about First Amendment closing, I was sad. I wouldn't say I'm a regular there, but I've gone frequently enough to have a favorite sandwich (the … [Read more...]
Reluctant Visit to West Side Market
I'm basically a good wife, but I have been a little reticent regarding Bobby's desire to visit West Side Market. In the last year, he has mentioned us "needing" to go there a couple of different times. I've been there before, so I had already crossed it off my bucket list. Behind the Scenes: Happy Howlidays

It is happening on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 7:00-9:30 p.m. Earlier activities begin at 4:30-7:00 p.m. at Wayne Center for the Arts. Enjoy my flashback post, but more importantly enjoy the festivities downtown on Friday. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...or at … [Read more...]

Family is awesome! It is beautiful building memories together. It is bearable and easier to let your hair down and be yourself with them. It is nice to have connection with people who "knew you when." (O.K. maybe that last one only works if you have achieved greatness--which I'm still working … [Read more...]
