Want Luxury? Try the Berlin Grande Hotel
My husband, Bobby, and I had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding anniversary by getting away from it all. We decided to go to an area we love to visit, Berlin, Ohio in the Amish Heartland. We visit the area often, but this time made it a weekend getaway. We stayed one night at the Berlin Grande Hotel. In a word, it was wonderful! Driving up to the hotel, it sort of catches your breath. Amish Country Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns Slideshow
Bobby and I spent all day Saturday driving through Holmes and Tuscarawas counties on the eighth annual Amish Country Christmas Cookie Tour of Inns. It was such a lovely event. All of the hotels and inns were beautiful, just the kinds of places for a nice get-a-way. The event continues Sunday, though tickets are no longer being sold.
