This past week has been a truly magical one for me. It started a week ago with me attending a mind-reading lecture in Cincinnati; it continued Wednesday when I attended a Banachek lecture in Columbus; and, it ended Friday with me being the very first guest of honor magician at Mega Magic Nite at Two Fat Guys BBQ in Massillon, Ohio. The Saturday lecture in Cincinnati was with none other than Richard Freakin' Osterlind. You can read about my experience here. Wednesday, was a great … [Read more...]
Fast Eddie’s in Bellville, Worth a Return Trip
Here at Wendi's Weekend Trips & Whatnot, we (my husband, Bobby, and I) get the opportunity to visit many restaurants we have never tried. I am glad for the variety and really enjoy trying new places. However, there are some restaurants that we visit that we think we would like to try again. Wedgewing Family Restaurant: A Great Way to Start Your Day

The restaurant boasts a truly American menu with traditional fare like burgers, fries and hot dogs. Everything is smoked to perfection, but menu items are … [Read more...]

Using my electric pressure cooker, I made some homemade Cincinnati-style chili (in the tradition of Skyline Chili), but we had eaten all the spaghetti. So, to make efficient use of my time, I thought I would try a trick from an old infomercial: Put the spaghetti in a tube, pour in boiling water and let it sit. The product in question was the … [Read more...]
