February 13, was a perfect day to view the ice sculpture displays at the 2016 Medina (Ohio) Ice Festival. It was freezing, so there was no fear of the sculptures melting. It was snowing, which added to the charm. It was Valentines weekend and I was with my wonderful husband, Bobby, which made being there romantic, even if it was freezing and snowing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QE48zv9Xudo The weather didn't seem to keep many people away. The Guide to the Universe (If Wayne County is Your Universe)
My husband, Bobby, and I had the opportunity to do a little more exploring of downtown Wooster last Friday, January 29, 2016. I'll be writing about that in another post. However, before we embarked, we enjoyed sharing a meal with the Executive Director of the Wayne County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Marty Starkey, at Broken Rocks Cafe. Lunch was very good. Randi had gotten two sets of gingerbread villages that included frosting and candy as well as the gingerbread building … [Read more...]
77 Hand Motions: You Won’t Believe the Story They Tell

Brian White, the senior minister at Parkview, had said it was an interactive event that would teach us the Old Testament. The event, when all was said and done, totaled about five hours. We spent two hours on Friday night and 3 hours on Saturday morning. I will say that it was exactly what Brian said it would be. By the end of the event, … [Read more...]
