When my husband, Bobby, and I participated in the inaugural Cupcake Tour earlier this year, we had the opportunity to visit five different Wayne County businesses. The tour took us to P. Graham Dunn, Smuckers Company Store and Cafe, Shisler's Cheese House, Eastwood Furniture and Lehman's. Each site had something unique to offer - and I am not talking about the different kinds of cupcakes. Whether it was jams and jellies, pictures and plaques or cheese and crackers, there was something unique to … [Read more...]
Dor-Stop is a Must Stop When Visiting Pittsburgh
With the holiday weekend upon us and a quiet one planned in my corner of the world, I thought I would wrap up my blogs about our recent trip to Pittsburgh. Bobby and I took the day off to drive the 2 hours to go to Montrose Elementary School … [Read more...]

They all get me. Even the worst roller coaster is still pretty good (just like pizza.) However, when I ride a really good coaster, the feeling lasts a little longer and I enjoy reliving it with friends. This is exactly what happened when I was able to be … [Read more...]
