Update: Since this blog post originally published, Champs Chicken is now open in Apple Creek. It is located in the BellStores on U.S. 250 that runs through the heart of the village. Updated: Eatery goes up in ‘Smoke,’ but Biscuit Uprising emerges
Editor's note: This blog post has been updated to include comments about the biscuits and gravy. Wooster has a new restaurant in town, Biscuit Uprising. The biscuit-themed restaurant is the brainchild of the same foodies who gave us Smoke the Burger Joint, Old Carolina BBQ, and Baja West Coast Kitchen -- friends Tim Hug and Brian Bailey, founders of the Ichor Restaurant Group. I've taken the whole vacation thing a little too far. I mean really I'm on vacation, but I do blog about weekend trips and whatnot so you think I would be writing a little bit more. Finally Reached Raising Cane’s, and So Glad We Did
I can't tell you how many years have passed since I first learned about Raising Cane's and the day I tasted my first chicken finger from the restaurant. I do know I ate my first meal at Raising Cane's on March 29, 2018. It was a great Thursday before Good Friday.
