For the second year in a row, my husband, Bobby, and I were privileged to attend a VIP Charity event at Cedar Point. Last year it was for the opening of their new roller coaster, Valravn. (If you want to read about my experience, you can click here.) This year was the grand opening of Cedar Point Shores Waterpark.
Cedar Point has revamped some of their waterpark features and created some pretty exciting new ones, including Point Plummet. The Point Plummet slide drops its riders “down a near-vertical free fall after the floor drops out from underneath your feet on these four massive six-story aqua-drop body slides” as explained on their website. While the weather didn’t cooperate for most of the night (it was cold and very rainy), there was a break in it long enough to hear from the Vice President and General Manager of Cedar Point, Jason McClure, as well as from the LeBron James Family Foundation 330 ambassadors.
