Spoon Market & Deli always brings out a different side in me, one my wife, Wendi, the founder of this blog, and other family members and friends don't get to see often. I am a picky eater. I like what I like. I don't stray too far. I am not one to try new things. I am not adventurous when it comes to food, except, when I go to Spoon Market & Deli. Don't ask me why, but I am willing to explore ... even if just a little bit. Such was the case with our visit on Friday. When it comes … [Read more...]
Couples Date Event at Parkview Christian Church Scores Big
As long as Bobby and I have been married, we have heard the importance of making our relationship the most important human relationship we have. The only other relationship that should be held higher than each other, is the one with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To that end, we have strived to make time for one another and especially to go on dates, either on our own or with other couples. I've been the wife of Bobby Warren for close to 23 years. (We will celebrate our wedding anniversary in March.) Of those years, Bobby had been a reporter or editor of a newspaper for almost 18 years. Goo-Goo Car Wash: Will There Be Cleaner Days?
Being a dog who likes to go for car rides, I never really put up much of a fuss when my mom, Wendi, gets my leash. In fact I get ants in my pants and can hardly stand still as she puts it on me. Depending on which leash she takes, I can tell if we are going for a walk, ride or doggie daycare. Thursday night she grabbed the car ride leash and I was like "bring it on!" My dad, Bobby, came with us. Mom said we had some errands to run, but the first thing was to get her car washed. Now my mom is … [Read more...]

I recently saw a Facebook post from the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce linking to a Time.com story about how Wooster is a top place to live in Ohio. I saw the post, smiled and moved on, not bothering to click on the link. My reluctance to read the "story" was not because I didn't want read about the city receiving yet another accolade, far from it. I didn't want to spend much time with it because it wasn't news. In other words, tell me something I don't already know. If you want to read … [Read more...]
