When my husband, Bobby, and I went to Columbus on Saturday, March 19, 2016, I had only planned to attend a show at The Little Theatre Off Broadway in Grove City. Bobby had more in mind than that. He had been wanting to try The Thurman Cafe for some time. It wasn't until recently that it was even on my radar. I had no preconceived idea of where we were going. Bobby had talked about the "Thurmanator," this truly gargantuan burger they serve. It consists of two 12 ounce burgers, … [Read more...]
Oh, Happy Day!
MARY MAGDALENE: A MONOLOGUE The sweetest sound I have ever heard is my Lord, saying my name. The very first time I heard it was while I was being tormented by seven demons. I had been living in that torturous state for many, many years. In fact it is hard for me even to remember what life was before the demons began their reign. Podcast: Wendi Talks About her Book: Princess Grace
Wendi Warren, my wife, launched her new book, "Princess Grace: A Tale of Faith, Hope & Love," on Valentine's Day, and it is now available in Amazon.com's Kindle Store. While every author desires to have a best-seller, Wendi's motivation is different, and she talks about it. … [Read more...]
Once Upon a Time: The Story Behind the Story

Once upon a time ... those words have always sent my mind racing to the end knowing that no matter what there would be a "Happily Ever After." I guess I was … [Read more...]

I did not take her advice to change my character. Maybe because we live … [Read more...]
