When I was growing up I remember watching a few episodes of the Andy Griffith Show during the summer. It was on at Noon, so while I was eating lunch I watched the show. It has been years since I had seen an episode. That is until recently. My husband, Bobby, and I have a access to Amazon Prime. Disney Plus and Netflix, so we have gotten in the habit of binge watching TV series. Recently we've watched Counterparts and Jack Ryan on Amazon, The Mandalorian on Disney Plus and Longmire on Netflix. … [Read more...]
Owney: My First Hotel Vacation
Being the beagle terrier mix of Wendi and Bobby Warren, the creators of this blog, has afforded me plenty of new experiences in my life. Our friend, Ron Bridgewater, asked if Bobby would come out and do a magic show for their Fall Festival. Bobby rarely turns down the opportunity to perform magic, so we decided to take a long weekend and visit the area of Columbus, … [Read more...]

When my husband, Bobby, and I lived in Hillsboro, OH, we were just a county over from Ross County. Ross County is the county in which the Outdoor Drama, Tecumseh! is performed. Sadly, we never made it to Chillicothe to see the drama, which based on the Tecumseh! website is the "epic life story of the legendary Shawnee leader as he struggles to defend his sacred homelands in the Ohio country during the late 1700’s." We had friends that went, but for some reason, when you live close to a tourist … [Read more...]
