I started my blog over a year ago, but from the beginning my husband Bobby has been all in with me on it. That includes encouraging me to attend a blogging conference. He heard about the Bloggy Conference last fall (which was going to be at Cedar Point), and when tickets first went on sale, he bought them.
So, since January we have had this weekend planned. We booked our hotel room at Hotel Breakers and then went about our blogging business. Now we are here and I am so excited. While I think I have a good foundation and over a year’s worth of blogging I am sure there is plenty for me to learn about all the other aspects that do not include writing.
I do want to shout out to the Hotel Breakers. The hotel is beautiful! Plus it is right on the beach of Lake Erie. We splurged and got a suite with a balcony with a lake view. I know I am here for business, but I couldn’t help but feel like we were on a romantic getaway with all the amenities.
Throw in a couple of tickets to Cedar Point for their Halloweekend and I think mixing business with pleasure is definitely on tap.
