The saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." While that might be true, it is best when we get a chance to say when the end comes. That is exactly what Kyle Durniat and her family have been able to do with the First Amendment Public House in Downtown Wooster. They will be closing the restaurant on December 31, 2015. When I first heard about First Amendment closing, I was sad. I wouldn't say I'm a regular there, but I've gone frequently enough to have a favorite sandwich (the … [Read more...]
Reluctant Visit to West Side Market
I'm basically a good wife, but I have been a little reticent regarding Bobby's desire to visit West Side Market. In the last year, he has mentioned us "needing" to go there a couple of different times. I've been there before, so I had already crossed it off my bucket list. Didn't really see it as a good reason to battle the Cleveland traffic, to see it again. However, because today is his birthday, I began to think that I could make the journey for him. Goodness knows he does plenty for … [Read more...]
Powerful video about real-life interactions

It is no different when it comes to the Lodi Christmas Decorating Contest. Last year they came in third place. This year it is a no holds barred effort. One in which I got to lend hand. They went from this: To this on Thursday: After lunch on Thanksgiving and once our parents, niece and great nephews left, Randi began pulling out box … [Read more...]
