I remember the first time I saw Periscope, a Twitter app that allows its users to stream video live, being used. It was during the Compassion Step Up walk. Surplus Stories from the Amish Heartland

It's been a week or so since my husband, Bobby, and I took our anniversary trip to the Amish heartland. But we still enjoy talking about all we did. Bobby and I love to get away. It is nice to just be together and experience new things. My husband, Bobby, and I really enjoy visiting the Amish Heartland in Holmes County, Ohio. We go there often. In fact, we were just there on our anniversary weekend, March 4-5, 2016. Usually when we visit, we have our favorite places to go. We never miss a chance to go to Walnut Creek Cheese to shop or Mrs. Yoder's in Mt. Hope for a meal. My husband, Bobby, and I had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding anniversary by getting away from it all. We decided to go to an area we love to visit, Berlin, Ohio in the Amish Heartland. We visit the area often, but this time made it a weekend getaway. We stayed one night at the Berlin Grande Hotel. In a word, it was wonderful! Driving up to the hotel, it sort of catches your breath.
