After a recent visit to see the Tadmor Shrine Circus in Canton, Ohio, we were feeling a little hungry. We wanted to find a place to eat that is not in Wooster, where we live. After such a wonderful experience at Table 6 Kitchen + Bar, we thought why not try one of its sister restaurants. So, we settled on 3 Brothers Corner Tavern. Wendi and I were joined by her co-worker, Jessica, and Jessica's little cousin, Vance. We thought we would start the meal off with an appetizer, so we settled … [Read more...]

Jeni’s (Really, Really) Splendid Ice Cream
Ice Cream isn't technically one of the major four food groups, but in my house it is rare that we don't have some in the freezer. Therefore, it isn't unusual for us to try new ice cream places whenever we are out on one of our adventures. March 19, 2016 was no exception. I have already expressed several times that our trip to Columbus was one of our perfect dates that my husband, Bobby, and I have had. That is partly due to the fact we visited Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream in the Short North area of … [Read more...]
Five Things I Learned at a Three Ring Circus
My husband, Bobby, and I went to the circus on our honeymoon over 20 years ago. My memory of it was that it was "OK," but wasn't really something I thought about doing again. Living Without Regrets
In the past couple of weeks, I have been made aware of my own immortality. We are all fragile human beings with no say on when we will be done with our time on earth. This is the reason a relationship with Jesus Christ is so important. But that isn't what I want to share today. A couple of years ago a friend of Bobby's died suddenly. He got sick one day and within a week he had died. At that time, Bobby and I were talking about how quick life can change. From that conversation I wrote the … [Read more...]
Flashback: Pushing to Launch Book on Valentine’s Day, Will We Make It?
One of the most exciting things I have done is to work as an “executive project manager” for my wife Wendi's book/fairy tale about a princess who gets kidnapped and has her life hanging in the balance. Will the king find her in time? Will she be saved? Will she live happily ever after? We are pushing to have the book ready for release on Valentine's Day via Amazon's Kindle store, and it has been a fun challenge bringing it to this point. Right now, all systems are go, but just like a NASA … [Read more...]
