I have been blogging for over one year. When I try to comprehend that fact, it really is beyond me. It has been a total blast for me. Since I was a little girl, I have loved writing. Blogging is an excellent outlet for me to do what I love.
However, during the recent blogging conference (Bloggy Conference 2016) my husband Bobby and I attended, I have begun to wonder who my readers are. Rachel Brenke, the keynote speaker at the conference, gave us a picture of the person who reads (and subscribes) to her blog. In the blogging universe, this is called developing an avatar or a persona. I thought it was an interesting exercise and have considered doing it. Yet, I wonder if asking you directly might be a better way to go — at least at this point.
I know some of my faithful readers are good friends of mine in “real life” (for lack of a better word). I get their feedback when I see them and have a sense of what they enjoy. But there are several of you out there who I don’t know personally and probably never will. So who are you?
Before anyone gets nervous or starts freaking out over my question, I’m not asking you to spill the beans or tell me your deepest, darkest secret. Just generally speaking (and on a light note), what kinds of things do you like to do? What brought you to my blog? Are you enjoying it? (which of course I hope you answer yes!) Are there things you wish I would talk about more? If you could ask me one question, what would that be?
I am so glad I have this forum to share what is on my mind and the things I get to do. I am glad you have joined me on my adventures! I hope that I have many, many more.
If you want to answer my questions, you can do so in the comment section at the bottom of this post. I look forward to hearing from you! Also, if you would like to receive my blog posts in your email, then please subscribe. I’d love to add you to my faithful reader list!
As always, thank you for spending your time with me today.
