Between the Clap Out from fifth grade for my great nephew, DeAveon and the VIP Charity Event at Cedar Point Shores Water Park, my husband, Bobby, and I took a detour into Norwalk. We wanted to eat at the historic, Berry's Restaurant. Because I was driving, Bobby was doing the searching for places to eat on our way to Cedar Point. We hadn't had lunch before DeAveon's Clap Out and we were hungry. We always like to try new places and Berry's sounded especially good, so we didn't mind a minor shift … [Read more...]

Holcomb’s Popcorn, Nuts & Ice Cream Now in Wooster
On the Saturday of my birthday week, my husband, Bobby, introduced me to a new ice cream place in Wooster. This was not an official birthday celebration event, as both he and I were done celebrating. Here are the things that I have done to celebrate this year. C.W. Burgerstein Wings -- I don't really need an excuse to go to C.W.'s for wings, but my … [Read more...]
Wendi’s Blog: A Summer Preview

Probably my favorite cartoon was Hong Kong Phooey. In the spirit of those beginning-of-summer previews, allow me to give you a glimpse of things we are anticipating on Wendi's Weekend Trips & Whatnot this summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va_Rmpd3PZI Family stuff With our niece Ashley and her boys, DeAveon and Noah, spending a lot … [Read more...]
