My wife, Wendi, and I recently went to The Australian Pink Floyd Show at the Goodyear Theater in Akron, Ohio. The band and the light show were absolutely amazing. Spending Time with Boardman, Ohio’s Own Willy Wonka
I have a confession to make. I am a chocoholic. They say that the first step is admitting you have a problem. I know I have a problem, but I just don't want to quit! Thankfully, God blessed me with a man who truly understands me. My husband, Bobby, is the reason that I was able to meet Joe Miller, the owner of Gorant Chocolatier in Boardman, Ohio. Friday, August 12, 2016 was the day when Bobby and I got a private tour of Gorant's factory by its own Willy Wonka. Although he didn't have a purple … [Read more...]
Schnipper’s: A New York Restaurant That is My Kind of Place
When my husband, Bobby and I traveled to New York City in July, we had the opportunity to try plenty of places to eat. Some we had planned to go--like Serendipity 3. It is in Lyndhurst, Ohio (at least where this Groupon was good for) and that is over 1 hour from where we live. Then my husband, Bobby's, schedule is so … [Read more...]
Broadway’s An American in Paris, a Must-See Show
Planning a trip to New York City can be a daunting task. Trying to figure out what to do and see is hard, especially if you have no frame of reference--other than what you see on TV. So I asked plenty of people for their advice. Hands down the number one thing I was told to do was to see a Broadway show. Sounds easy, right? Well not as easy as you think. The reason is there are so many to choose from--even on the short notice we had. (I understand some shows are sold out months in … [Read more...]
