It's a funny thing when you get what you wish for and then you wonder what you were thinking. For example, I recently was speaking with my husband, Bobby, my official videographer/photographer, about my blog. I said something along the lines of "It's called Wendi's Weekend Trips and Whatnot, but I haven't been on a weekend trip in a while." Famous last words I think. Because the very next day I am caught up in a whirlwind. You see Bobby, who just so happens to be a reporter for The Daily … [Read more...]

Oh Mercy: On the Set of Mercy Street
Never in my life did I ever think that I would actually get on the set of an actively filming movie or TV show. But I should know by now, to never say never being married to Bobby Warren. Great Birthday Celebration, I Mean It. Anybody Want a Peanut?
My birthday celebration this year was quite a production. It had been in the works for the better part of the year. June 2, 2016 began the 27th year that I have been celebrating my birthday for a week. While I began this tradition long before I met and married Bobby Warren, he has been the one to sustain it for so many years. He spoils me all year round, but especially the week of my birthday. I discovered the restaurant in January this year as my boss took us, the Performance, … [Read more...]
Five Guys Gets Five Stars
I can't remember the first time I went to a Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I do remember that I thought it was great. The burgers were big, they make fresh cut fries and they give you plenty of them. So you can imagine my delight when I heard that a Five Guys was being built at the north end of Wooster. Waiting for it to be opened was a true test of my patience. It was on Monday, May 30, that they officially opened. Bobby and I had been dog sitting in Lodi, but were heading home in the … [Read more...]
